The Hungarian nuclear sector is at a regulatory and strategic turning point. Following the recent U.S.–Hungary Civil Nuclear Intergovernmental Agreement and the European Union’s new small modular reactor (SMR) strategy, this workshop is designed to position participating organisations at the forefront of SMR deployment in the region. The event will bring together key policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders to explore the commercial outlook of SMRs and the opportunities ahead in Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe.
